Sloppy Seconds
Sloppy Seconds
Sloppy Seconds is a Ramones/Dickies-influenced punk band from Indianapolis that started in the mid-1980s. With such underground hits as "Come Back, Traci" (a tribute to an underaged Traci Lords), "I Want 'em Dead", and "So Fucked up", the band prefers to sing about such topics as pornography, classic horror movies, old TV shows, comic books, alcohol, being fat, and getting drunk. They have been quoted as being proud to be fat, drunk, and stupid. Their name is the slang term for when a man has intercourse with another person who already has received another man's semen in the relevant orifice.

Black Irish Texas
Founded in November 04' by James (Fitzy) Fitzsimmons and Mark Maughmmer II, Black Irish Texas started out in Austin as an idea with no direction and endless possibilities. Struggling to not get cornered into just another irish pub band playing covers
of "Danny Boy" and "Whiskey In The Jar" and struggling also to find the right line up of dedicated musicians that would bring their own flare, they met up with Shannon Macmillian, a local Rockabilly upright bass playing Irishman. Then drummer Dave Mitchell, having already played in numerous bands around town with Fitzy and Shannon, was brought on board to drum. The new, loud snare cracking country style rhythm really added a different flare helping drive the band away from the filler punk beats and
predictable Irish stylings. Mark, playing fiddle around town with numerous other acts including the Knob Hillbillies and local favorites the Flatcar Rattlers, met up with a fast bluegrass banjo picker who was working his way around town looking for a gig.

Since the Black Irish have gotten together they have enjoyed much success in live performances with nationally renowned acts and punk rock veterans such as the Dropkick Murphys and the Street Dogd, aswell as local Psychobilly greats the Flametrick Subs and punk favorites the Dicks.

Next on the agenda for this hard working and hard playing band is to get out of town and promote "To Hell with
the King" their debut album recorded by Paul Ramsey at Perfect Pitch productions.
They have enjoyed more success and more fans
than expected and hope to expand their success throughout the world with goals such as touring Europe and recording new material.
